Internally displaced people in Ethiopia recount the difficulties of their new lives but also their attempt to integrate by overcoming conflicts with their new neighbors.

Raphael Schanz, born in Hildesheim in 1989, is a documentary filmmaker and producer based in Berlin. After studying communication and social sciences and traveling between the Middle East and Africa working on communication in the political sphere, he decided to follow his passion for film by studying documentary filmmaking at filmArche in Berlin. He co-founded the production company panther reh and has directed several short documentary films.
