All awards will have an allocation of 1,000 euros. Other prizes will be awarded for best director and best screenplay.
The purpose of the competition is to convey the culture of peace, to go beyond the never-sustainable logic of war and violent conflicts, focusing on the importance of culture and education, interculturality, social justice, dialogue, eco-sustainability; and inviting solidarity, mutual listening, respect for diversity, human rights, especially of children, migrants and inhabitants of the considered peripheries of the world.
The goal is thus to stimulate authors to share audiovisual works that tell of creative and nonviolent practices in conflict resolution. Today, more than ever, it is necessary to recognize that only through ongoing peace education will it be possible to guarantee future generations a truly inclusive society for all*.
